 Terms and Conditions
TICKETS and PASSES are personal and not transferable.
Metrovias staff may require proof of identity, should they deem it necessary.  
This information must correspond with what is shown on the Subtepass.
In the case of the SCHOOL PASS, proof of exemption will also be verified by the holder wearing a white pinafore.
Exemption holders are to comply with these regulations and make use of the exemption correctly.
Any offence or misconduct by the holder shall give rise to the loss of said benefit for a 6-month period, and for 1 year in the case of repeat offenders.
  • The PASS must be kept in good conditions.
  • PASSES AND TICKETS ARE FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY. DO NOT LEND IT. INAPPROPIATE USE MAY GIVE RISE TO THE BENEFIT BEING SUSPENDED.

   Ticket and Pass Losses
Teacher Pass and Ticket
In case of theft or loss, application for renewal must include the report filed before the police stating its loss or theft, and proof of identity.

Student Pass
In case of theft or loss, a new pass can be bought paying for the amount of the journeys used from the lost pass. (for ex. Having used 9 journeys from the lost pass, a new one can be bought for $ 0,375 x 9 used journeys = $3,37).  Application for renewal must include the report filed before the police stating its loss or theft, and proof of identity.


 Student Pass
Scope of the Exemption
The Concession Agreement establishes that secondary school students and other students of a tertiary, non-university level attending state-subsidised private or state institutions may buy their STUDENT PASS at the Subtepass centers.

    Documentation required to buy the PASS
  • Stamped and signed evidence from the school showing that the benefit holder is still a student.
  • Type of School hours the student is attending (full day, half day and classes outside school hours, if any).
  • Proof of identity with updated address and photocopies of its 1 and 2 pages.
  • The voucher must be filled in in block letters with all relevant personal and school information, and signed.
    Documentation required to renew the PASS
  • Proof of identity.
  • Used Pass.
    Validity.
  • 90 (ninety) days after the first journey has been made.
  • The Subtepass shall show the expiry date after the first journey has been made.
  • Last Name and Type of Document will appear at the front of the card..
    Using the Pass
  • Monday to Friday at all times and Saturday until 3.00 pm.
  • A maximum of 4 journeys per day, 14 per week and 40 per month.
  • Not to be used during Sunday or national holidays.

 Teacher Ticket
Scope of the exemption
Teachers from schools under the jurisdiction of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires holding a Teacher Pass may buy their Teacher Ticket at the Subtepass Centers.
    Documentation required to buy the Teacher Ticket:
  • Teacher pass issued by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
  • Signed evidence from the School.
  • Proof of Identity with updated address and photocopies of the 1 and 2 pages.
  • The voucher must be filled in in block letters with all relevant personal and school information, and signed.
    Documentation required to renew the PASS:
  • Proof of identity
  • Used Pass 
    Validity
  • 40 (fourty) days after the first journey has been made.
  • The Subtepass shall show the expiry date after the first journey has been made.
  • Last Name and Type of Document will appear at the front of the card.
    Using the Pass
  • Monday to Friday, no time restriction.
  • A maximum of 2 journeys per day, 10 per week and 44 per month. 
  • Not to be used on Saturday, Sunday or nacional holidays.
  • 30 minute Passback.

 OAP Pass
Scope of the exemption The Concession Agreement establishes that exemptions are granted to all old age pensioners and retired personnel from the Armed and Security Forces receiving pensions of up to $ 220 pesos, code 001 + CHM.
    Documentation required to APPLY for the PASS
  • Last pay slip and a photocopy.
  • Proof of identity (DNI, LC, LE, ID Card or Passport).
    Documentation required to RENEW the PASS
  • Last pay slip (original).
  • Proof of Identity.
  • Used PASS.
    Validity
  • 4 (four) months after the first journey has been made.
  • The Subtepass shall show the expiry date after the first journey has been made.
  • Last Name and Type of Document will appear at the front of the card.
    Using the PASS
  • Monday to Friday from 5.00 am to 7.00 am and from 10.00 to 4.00 pm.
  • Saturday, Sunday and national holidays, no time restrictions.

 Primary School Pass
Scope of the exemption  The Concession Agreement establishes that school-children attending mandatory primary public schools are allowed to travel free of charge, wearing their white pinafores, during school term.
    Documentation required to apply for the PASS:
  • Stamped and signed evidence that the benefit holder is attending school. 
  • Type of school the benefit holder is attending (full day, half day or classes after school hours, if any).
  • Proof of identity with updated address and photocopies of the 1 and 2 pages.
  • The voucher must be filled in in block letters with all relevant personal and school information, and signed by the child’s mother, father or guardian.
    Documentation required to RENEW the PASS:
  • Proof of identity.
  • Used PRIMARY SCHOOL PASS.
    Validity
  • 90 (ninety) days after the first journey has been made.
  • The Subtepass shall show the expiry date after the first journey has been made.
  • The holder’s Last Name and Type of Document will appear at the front of the card.
    Using the Pass
  • Half day: a maximum of 2 journeys per day, 10 per week and 44 per month.
  • Full day: a maximum of 4 journeys per day, 20 per week and 88 per month. 
  • After school classes: a maximum of 4 journeys per day, 14 per week and 60 per month.

The pass cannot be used on Saturday, Sunday and national holidays.


   Disabled
Scope of the exemption The Concession Agreement establishes that exemptions shall be granted to the people presenting proof of their disability benefits.
    Documentation required to APPLY for the PASS Visually Impaired:
  • Proof of disability benefit issued by the Instituto de Rehabilitación del Lisiado (Act 13642).
  • A photocopy of the above mentioned benefit.
  • Proof of Identity (DNI, LC, LE, ID Card).
    Documentation required to APPLY for the PASS Other Disabilities:
  • Pass issued by the Secretaria de Transporte (Act 22431)
  • A Photocopy of said Pass.
  • Proof of Identity (DNI, LC, LE, ID Card).
    Documentation required to RENEW the PASS
  • Certficate of Disability Benefit or pass, as the case may be.
  • Proof of Identity.
  • Used PASS.
    Validity:
  • 6 (six) months after the first journey has been made.
  • The Subtepass shall show the expiry date after the first journey has been made.
  • The holder’s Last Name and Type of Document will appear at the front of the card.

   Urquiza Railway
Secondary School Pass
The Concession Agreement establishes that secondary school students and other students of a tertiary, non-university level attending state-subsidised private or state schools may buy their STUDENT PASS at the Passenger Service Center (Platform 1, F.Lacroze Station). 
    Documentation required:
  • Stamped and signed evidence from the school showing that the benefit holder is still a student.
  • Proof of identity with updated address and photocopies of its 1 and 2 pages.
  • 4 x 4 photograph.
Price:
$18 pesos

    Exemptions
  • Primary school children: wearing their white pinafore during school term.
  • Old age pensioners and retired personnel from the Armed and Security Forces: only extended to those receiving up to $200 per month, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and from 5.00 to 9.00 pm, Saturday, Sunday and national holidays, without time restrictions.
  • Police officers from the Federal Police and the Provincia de Buenos Aires Police wearing their uniforms.
  • School children showing prior authorization.
  • Children under 3 years old.
